SURVEY OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE WEBINAR SERIES FOR AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF) PREVENTION IN THE AMERICAS

The African Swine Fever (ASF) Interagency Training Group, comprised of ten technical cooperation agencies working in Latin America and the Caribbean, has been organizing the ASF prevention training webinar series for two years. The interagency group is interested in improving the virtual training offering on this and other topics related to transboundary animal diseases as part of capacity building for official veterinary services and other organizations in the region.

Survey Objective:
To understand the perceptions of webinar participants regarding some of the characteristics of the events, the quality of the speakers and topics, the use of the knowledge presented, and additional information with a view to improving the webinar offering in 2025.

Stakeholder Group:
People who participated in webinars held in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, belonging to the public/government sector, the private sector (unions and producers), research institutes, academia, international organizations, and independent professionals.

Use of Information Provided:
The information obtained through this survey will be the basis for improving upcoming webinars held in 2025.

The survey data will be subject to statistical analysis by the Interagency Training Group and will be used in publications, reports, or institutional reports. They are not for commercial purposes. Personal information will be omitted from the dataset; All identities will be kept confidential, and individual responses will be analyzed anonymously as a whole.
